My mind is cluttered right now and I can't focus on just one thing, so I'm lacking in the stress department. But I'll give this my best shot I guess. I am Michael Kenji Shinoda from the band Linkin Park. The band in a whole has pretty much became a household name throughout these past few years. We have carved ourselves a nice little nitche in the music industry and stolen a good amount of limelight if I do say so myself. The years that we have been a band has been built on blood, sweat, and tears. And I mean that whole heartedly. Being in a band is not all fun and games like most kids out there think it is. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication. I remember back in the days when we were a small tiny band, no one really knew of us 'cept for the locals, and we did our own promoting. Sometimes staying out untill two or three am hitting up concerts then standing outside of them to pass out Cd's and fliers. We made sure that if not everyone, most people got both. Hard work and dedication are two of the most important things when it comes to a band. These days I can't even walk down the street without being recognized. But its awesome that kids can relate to us, to what we have to say. And I am blessed, we are all blessed to be where we are today. And I am truly and honestly blessed to be working with such talented and beautiful people. So it is a success story. Its a dream come true and the dream of every musician. To put hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm into something then to see it take off. People call us an overnight success, you better check the stats again because we have a lot riding on this. We didn't just one day up and call Warner Brothers then told them to sign us. No, it took a lot to get to where we are today. So shun us or love us, we are Linkin Park. And I am Mike Shinoda SpikeShnizzel is the aim. Use it wisely? Oh yeah and this journal is gonna be friends only from here on out. So if you want in on the madness then leave me a comment ok?
